The Committee on Graduate Studies (COGS) student representative is Patricia (Trish) Tynan, a third year graduate student in the PhD program, Radiation Therapy Physics track. Trish received her Bachelors degree in Physics from DePauw University where she worked with the High Energy Physics groups at University of Arizona and Fermilab. She subsequently worked with the Nuclear Physics group at University of New Hampshire. She currently works as a Teaching Assistant at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center. Trish's PhD research involves the use of custom-made compensators for delivery of modulated electron radiotherapy treatments under the direction of Sotirios Stathakis, PhD.
