[edit] Status and whereabouts
I am a fourth year student at the UT Health Science Center. I am a Ph.D. student of Medical Physics, and I am in the Diagnostic Imaging track, and my advisor is Dr. Clarke.
My thesis project is titled Approaches to phantom design for cardiovascular imaging.
You can find me in Room 512E in the Medical School building or at office number 210-567-0687.

- I also hold certificates in advanced studies in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Shiraz University (1996), University of Tabriz (1996), and Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (1997).

- Research at University of Tennessee:
- Establishing a remote live connection between The NCSU Pulstar Reactor and UTNE Dept.
- Characterizing the wave output of a CTI Molecular Imaging LSO detector using a fast digitzer.
- Research experience at UCDavis Medical Center, Dept of Neurological Surgery on Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) and Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) of Glioblastoma tumor cells.

- I also studied graduate level architecture under Marian Moffet, under whom I carried out studies of historical houses in the city of Kashan, and traditional water sources in the city of Qazvin, and a survey of the 14th century Goharshad mosque, all in Iran. Two papers (presented to Society of Architectural Historians) authored by me were the result of this.
